Nathan Gardiner - Manager

Nathan's role is to oversee the coordination and delivery of the AVCC objectives. He comes from a firm background in video collaborative technologies and has spent the last 6 years coordinating the rollout of Access Grid, H.323 High Definition Endpoints and Desktop Solutions to the University of Canterbury and other New Zealand Universities.

Outside of the office, Nathan enjoys watching and playing cricket, playing piano, spending time with his family & playing the Nintendo Wii with his kids.

 


Blair Willems - Content & Communications

Blair's current area of focus within AVCC is content creation and coordinating communications with various stakeholders of the Centre. He develops and maintains the AVCC website, including the tutorials and the endpoint directory, and will also be actively involved in the VC community, looking for ways to improve your experience with VC technologies.

He joins the AVCC after completing a double degree at the University of Canterbury.

Outside of work his interests are photography, and various other aspects of visual multimedia production.

 


Daniel Rammelt - Technical Specialist

Daniel is currently focusing on investigating technical issues and solutions, and creating documentation for a range of video collaborative technologies. He also maintains the technical aspects of AVCC's server infrastructure, and the KAREN Bridge.

His technical background ranges from customer support, and technical trouble shooting through to software design and implementation.

Outside of work he enjoys repairing and restoring cars.
