This Discussion was started at the Conference '09, some thoughts on the day were:

  • Charging will slow early adoption
  • There is a problem associated with rooms being booked and participants simply not showing up. Fines are currently being discussed as a way to discourage this
  • It was suggested charging may be important to manage demand for the ports avialable on the HD Bridge
  • What are the costs recovered by reduction of travel?
  • Proven use of the Bridge at capacity is a good case for expansion
  • Important to recognise that all travel can not be replaced by the use of Video Conferencing
