With the new changes to the KAREN Bridge effective 24th July 2009 we have been working to setup a new type of booking system for users. With the old Codian MCU replaced with the new Radvision MCU, the CMP Booking System is no longer needed.
To roll out the various integrated components of the new interim KAREN Bridge, REANNZ & AVCC will be working closely with Radvision to ensure that these implementations will involve minimal interruptions. Below are the planned phases throughout the few weeks.
Phase 1 - 24th July 2009
- Transition over to standalone Radvision 30 port Bridge
Phase 2 - Late August 2009 (planned)
- iView Meeting Scheduler website integration to come online for users to book meetings
- Scopia Desktop Client integration available for user to download and use on the Bridge
- Web streaming available
Phase 3 - September 2009 (planned)
- Recording meetings available
- ISDN connectivity to Bridge
- Telephone connectivity to Bridge
Because of the slight interruptions during this transition phase, REANNZ has announced that all KAREN VC Service participants will receive one months free access to this VC Service.
