Introduction
The My Profile Options page is an area of the AVCC website where members can update their profile details, change settings for how they would like to watch content, apply for operator status and update subscriptions to AVCC newsletters.
Navigating to the My Profile Options page
Once registered with the AVCC website, logged on users will notice an additional two sub menus along the black menu bar at the top of the Website.
Highlighting the My Options sub heading will reveal a number of options, the first of which is View My Profile Options. Clicking this link will take you to your Profile page.
My Profile Options Overview
Once you are on the main page there is a wide array of information presented to you, as well as several new options.
Included on this page, is your User Status & Details available by the view control tab - information you entered during your registration. Fields such as phone numbers will be visible to you, but not to others users viewing your page.
To the left, you will see a block titled My Recent Content, which will show you links and creation dates of your most recently created content. At the top of this block is an addtional link to view a page of all content you have created, sortable by content types.
Above the User Status & Details you will notice several Control Tabs View, Edit, and My Watched Posts. Clicking these tabs will take you to different areas of your profile options, explained below.
Edit tab
The edit control tab (to the right of the view tab) allows user to update all of their account information. Once the edit tab is selected three more tabs below it are revealed, known as the edit tabs. These tabs are Account, Details, and My Subscriptions.
Under the Account tab a user can change their username, email address, password and photo/logo which will display on forum posts and their main profile page.
Under the Details tab 
a user can update their personal details, such as their position, organisation, phones numbers and other details.
Under the My Subscriptions tab a user can change their subscription status for each of the AVCC's newsletters.
My Watched Posts
The last control tab is titled My Watched Posts and contains the settings and browser for Watcher. Further details of how to watch posts and configure watcher are contained in the Watcher Tutorial.
